Around the late 80's or early 90's, my sister was taking music lessons. The lessons were given at a college and on occasion i would tag along. While she was taking lessons the rest of us would head on over to the library (there was a sweet underground tunnel to the library that i loved taking...unfortunately i've heard the tunnel is no longer open, but instead is now used for storage...bummer).
Anyway, at this college library, I found a book about DC superheroes. It was the greatest book i had ever found and everytime we'd go there i'd run to where it was located and sit down and read it until it was time to go (i think they even let me take it home once, even though i didn't have a library card there).
I'm not even sure i was into comics yet, but i but i knew who batman and superman were of course. But now, all of a sudden there were all these superheroes i had never seen before! It was like finding gold. Thinking back on it now, i have no idea what the name of the book was, and i can only remember a few of the superheroes in it...mainly the Atom. For some reason i vividly remember the Atom's biography from the book.
That's where you come in. I have been scouring google, trying to find this book to no avail. Does anybody remember this book or know where i can find it?! All i can remember about it is that it was a thick book (not a comic) that was all white except for some sort of DC superhero illustration on the cover (most likely of superman, batman and wonder woman with a few like hawkman and the atom in the background). If i had to guess, i'd say it was published in the late 60's, or 70's before Crisis happened although i could be wrong.
So that's it. If anyone can help i would be eternally grateful

I've got to find that book!
